Provenance

Possibly copied in Augsburg (Bente 1968); copied in Munich (Rifkin 1976b). Apparently intended for Cardinal Matthaeus Lang (Archbishop of Salzburg 1519-40), but probably never presented. In Schatzkammer of ducal court library in Munich by 16th century; holdings of ducal library formed foundation of present Bayerische Staatsbibliothek.
