Endpapers: front and rear: 1 modern with pastedown; original rear flyelf (now bound upside down and back to front) and pastedowns included as flyleaves
Original binding (CCM): 'Original covers of reddish-brown leather over wooden boards, in poor condition; clasps now missing. Front and back covers bear identical blind-tooled designs (multi-line rectangular borders subdivided by diagonal lines into lozenge-shaped compartments, each of which contains a rosette).' Still seen by TS in 1995, now replaced by modern binding and presumed lost. Remark on rear pastedown: 'BIBL. APOST. VAT. | LABORATORIO RESTAURO Registro n. 8 | Data: 14 NOV. 1992.'
